was a first-round loser Monday at the Kitzbuhel Cup.
Jurgen Zopp of Estonia took down Garcia-Lopez, the No. 6 seed, by a 6-1, 6-3
margin.
Garcia-Lopez won the title here three years ago.
Slovakian Martin Klizan, the fifth seed, topped Austrian wild card Dominic
Thiem 6-1, 3-6, 7-5.
Croatian qualifier Antonio Veic eased past eighth-seeded Slovenian Blaz Kavcic
6-1, 6-2 in 68 minutes. It was Veic's second win over Kavcic in three meetings
this year, all on clay. The 137th-ranked Veic dropped only two games in
Belgrade before Kavcic returned the favor with a straight-set win in Umag.
In other first-round action, Filippo Volandri rallied to post a 1-6, 6-4, 6-3
win over fellow Italian Alessandro Giannessi and Hungarian qualifier Attila
Balazs outlasted Austrian wild card Martin Fischer, 6-3, 1-6, 7-6 (7-2).
