Throwback Thursday: Falcons stars share photos from high school days

Falcons fans are moving on after Super Bowl collapse

Falcons football returns on Thursday night.

It's just a preseason game, but it's still the first time the Falcons have taken the field since February. That's all we're going to say about that.

As the team arrived in Miami to take on the Dolphins, several of the team's stars posted pictures on social media for #TBT, but with a twist.

The players shared photos from their prep school playing days.

Quarterback Matt Ryan gave a shout-out to William Penn Charter School.

Kicker Matt Bryant shared a photo from him in Bridge City, Texas where he was already splitting the uprights.

Devonta Freeman, who just received a 5-year extension to make him the highest paid running back in the league, played at Miami Central.

Falcons rookie Duke Riley played on a team named the Patriots. We'll let that slide for now.

But Falcons players weren't the only ones to do it. Some of Georgia high school alums participated, as well.
