UGA Insider: Conflicting reports on Sony Michel's status

UGA Insiders: Eason/Lambert battle update, players to watch out for this season

What feels like the longest offseason ever is nearly over.

The Georgia Bulldogs are just a couple days away from the Chick-fil-A Kickoff Game against the North Carolina Tar Heels, which will be held at the Georgia Dome Saturday.

Despite how close we are to kickoff, there are still several uncertainties.

We still do not know who will be the starting quarterback for the Bulldogs. All signs were pointing to Jacob Eason, but last year's starter Greyson Lambert has been taking reps with the first team offense this week.

Our UGA Insider Radi Nabulsi joined us Wednesday to talk about the QB battle, as well as backs Nick Chubb and Sony Michel.

Nabulsi said he had sources telling him Michel had been cleared to play in Saturday's game after recovering from a broken arm. However, another source told him that was not the case, creating uncertainty.

Nabulsi recently predicted that Michel would play Saturday against the Tar Heels.
