Jeff is a 19-time Emmy winner, 2-time Edward R. Murrow winner, part of the 11Alive team that won a 2014 Best of Gannett for Watchdog reporting of DFCS, a past recipient of Georgia Sportscaster of the Year as voted by his peers with the National Sportswriters and Sportscasters Association, multiple television AP awards including 2 time honor for Best Play by Play in the state of Georgia while serving as the play by play radio voice of the Atlanta Falcons, as well as many "Best of Atlanta" awards.
Hullinger's call of Morten Anderson's NFC Title winning kick in Minneapolis is played in the Georgia Sports Hall of Fame as one of the state's 10 biggest sports moments.
In addition to the Falcons, Jeff spent two years as one of ESPN-TV's front line college football play-by-play voices, including bowl games. His favorite experience was serving with ESPN Gameday for the network feature game of the week as the play-by-play voice.
Hullinger also called men's and women's NCAA basketball, and the Arena League post season games.
Jeff was the weeknight Atlanta television sports anchor at WAGA-TV for 18 years. When the bomb went off at Centennial Olympic Park, Jeff anchored 8 and a half hours of WAGA-TV's news coverage.
Hullinger broadcast television preseason Falcons games in 3 decades, the 80's, 90's and 2000's. He hosted 4 Falcons head coaches television shows over the years.
His biggest thrills aside from broadcasting an NFC Championship game and a Super Bowl were calling a Falcons/Saints game with former Soviet President Mikhail Gorbachev as an analyst and traveling to Tokyo to broadcast the Falcons/Cowboys Tokyo Bowl.
Hullinger also filled in many times as the Host of CNN's Talkback Live.
He spent years doing radio commentary for Atlanta's 96Rock.
He spent three years anchoring news for WSB-AM 750 and WSB-FM 98.5.
Jeff began his career as a weekend sports anchor and reporter at KSL in Salt Lake City.
Then on to Denver and KCNC where he was a weekend sports anchor and reporter. Jeff anchored the Denver Broncos pre-game show.
Hullinger anchors the Peachtree Road Race coverage on July 4th in Atlanta.
