David Thompson was headed north on North Columbia and tried to make a left turn onto Hammock, the report says. Thompson had a green light, but did not have a turn arrow. He collided with Cagle, who was driving south.

Thompson and his wife, June Shannon, reportedly told police that they did not see the other vehicle because its lights were not on.The police report says Thompson failed to yield, but Milledgeville Police Chief Dray Swicord said he does not believe he was cited. The chief said that's up to the officer's discretion and had nothing to do with the family's status as TV stars.

Besides the couple and Honey Boo Boo, two other daughters, Jessica and Lauren Shannon, were also in the Suburban, the report says.

June Shannon complained of back pains, but refused treatment at the scene, the report says. According to the report, she was not wearing a seat belt.

Lauren Shannon complained of breathing problems and was treated on the scene by EMTs.Damage to both vehicles was moderate, the report says. The Thompsons' vehicle suffered cracks and dents to the bumper and damage to the grill. It was towed by a McIntyre wrecker.Neither driver was drinking, according to the report.
