Shawn joined 11Alive News in 2009 as one half of the CIA - Center for Investigative Action - team. The team strives to take action and get results for Atlantans.

Shawn?s career began in Steubenville, Ohio, as a photojournalist for WTOV-9. He then moved to WPXI in Pittsburgh, PA where his passion for investigative journalism began. Next Shawn moved to WFTV in Orlando, Fla. and then KIRO-TV in Seattle, where he met Ross. The team enjoyed working together, and saw great results so together they moved to WJLA in Washington, DC. That was their last stop before finding a new home at 11Alive (Atlanta's NBC affiliate).

Shawn graduated from West Liberty State with a Bachelor's in Communication.

Shawn has won many awards for his work including 11 Emmy Awards and 10 Associated Press Awards, 4 Edward R. Murrow Awards and 1 award from the National Association of Consumer Advocates.

Shawn lives in the Brookhaven neighborhood and he enjoys playing tennis and softball.
