CANTON, Ga. (WXIA) -- One person was killed at least6 others hurt, including three kids, in a three-vehicle accident on Marietta Highway at Interstate 575 Thursday afternoon.
Officials said the wreck happened around 3 p.m. Firefighters arrived at the site of the accident to find two cars and a pick-up involved in the wreck.

The driver of one of the cars, a 30-year-old woman driving a red Honda, was pronounced dead at the scene, according to authorities.
Officials said five people were injured in a black Chevrolet truck -- a 33-year-old woman who was driving, a 53-year-old female passneger, and three kids in the back, a 12-year-old boy and two girls, ages7 and 4. The three children were taken by ambulance to Scottish Rite Hospital in Atlanta. The two people in front had minor injuries.
According to officials, the 68-year-old man driving the third vehicle, a white Buick, had cuts to his head and was transported to Kennestone Hospital in Marietta in stable condition.
