Tempe, AZ (Sports Network) - Randal Grichuk hit a game-winning RBI single in the bottom of the ninth inning Sunday to lift the Angels to a 6-5 win over the Rangers in spring training.
Kole Calhoun also had a run-scoring single in the two-run ninth, which came after Texas had taken a 5-4 lead in the top of the inning on Greg Miclat's two-run double and Conor Jackson's RBI single.
Earlier, Albert Pujols hit a solo homer in the first inning and Jorge Cantu had a two-run blast in the eighth for the Angels. Dusty Brown belted a two-run shot for the Rangers.
Rangers starter Mark Hamburger gave up two runs -- one earned -- in two innings and Trevor Bell allowed just three hits and two walks in 4 1/3 shutout frames for the Angels.
