ATLANTA -- Atlanta Police Captain Adam Lee III says the medical examiner will determine what caused the death of a man struck by a CSX train just before midnight Wednesday.

Police say the conductor spotted the man, who appeared to be in his 60's, lying on the tracks near Marietta Boulevard and Jefferson Street. The man did not move when the train's horn was sounded.

Lee said an autopsy will be performed to determine the cause of death.
