BUFORD, Ga. --Underwater recovery teams will dive as deep as 100 feet Thursday, as they continue their search for 13-year-old Griffin Prince in Lake Lanier.
The Buford teendisappeared Monday night after his family's pontoon boat was rammed by another boat in the Shoal Creek area between Buford Dam and Lake Lanier Islands.
Griffin's 9-year-old brother Jake Prince died at the scene and three other people were hurt in the crash.
Friends of the family have set up a Facebook pagein Jake andGriffin Prince's memory. A memorial fund has also been set up through Wells Fargo. Donations to the Jake and Griffin Prince Memorial Fund can be made at any Wells Fargo branch.
A 44-year-old boater from Cumming is accused of boating under the influence in the deadly crash.Paul J. Bennettmay face additional charges once investigators finish collecting evidence.
Bennett was arrested hours after the crash at Bald Ridge Marina in Cumming. He was released onbond Tuesday.
