New York, NY (Sports Network) - Newly acquired New York Knicks guard Jason Kidd was arrested for misdemeanor DWI early Sunday morning after crashing his car into a light pole, according to the New York Post.
Kidd, 39, was released on his own recognizance Sunday.
The 10-time All-Star was transported to Southampton Hospital in Southampton, New York to treat minor injuries.
This isn't Kidd's first run in with the law. In January 2001 Kidd was arrested and eventually plead guilty for a domestic violence charge.
