PEACHTREE CITY, Ga. -- Peachtree City Police have arrested three people in connection with a recent home invasion and shooting.
The incident happened July 13, when a woman told police that two men burst into her home and demanded money, according to Peachtree City Police spokeswoman Capt. Rosanna Dove.
One of the suspects shot at the woman when she tried to run from the house, Dove said. The victim was grazed by a bullet, but managed to get to a neighbor's house and call for help.
Police announced Tuesday that three people had been arrested for the robbery and shooting. Gilbert and Ted Jefferson, both 27, were charged with aggravated assault, armed robbery and burglary. Neither man lives in Peachtree City; Gilbert lives in Lithonia, while Ted is from Snellville.
A third suspect, 28-year-old Christopher Falkner of Peachtree City, was charged with conspiracy to commit armed robbery and conspiracy to commit burglary.
All three suspects are being held in the Fayette County Jail.
