LAWRENCEVILLE, Ga. -- Police now believe thatskeletalremains found inLawrenceville on Sunday belong to a woman between 19-22 years old.

Gwinnett County Police said residents in north Lawrenceville reported finding the skeletal remains around 1 p.m. Police said the woman had probably been dead for about three months.

The Homicide Unit and Crime Scene Investigations Unit responded to the scene. After documenting the scene and recovering the remains, they are nowtreating this incident as a suspicious death investigation.

According to Cpl. Jake Smith of the Gwinnett County Police Department, the remains are believed to be from a black female, between 19 and 22-years-old. Police think she's between 5'8 and 6 feet tall and she was foundwearing a t-shirt that looks to be from a Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. memorial function in 2008.
