Teri Duffy had a jarring experience when her car hit a sunken storm grate in front of 2500 Peachtree Road in Buckhead. The impact jolted the car and ultimately popped her passenger's side tire and bent the rim. Not wanting this to happen to other drivers, Teri contacted 11Alive for help. Early the next morning, Commuter Dude arrived on scene to survey the hazard. He quickly placed a warning cone in front of the sunken grate to protect other drivers. He then sent a picture of the recessed drain straight to the Georgia D.O.T. And within an hour, a crew was on site making the repair.
