(USA TODAY) -- Talk about a catfight.
Lindsay Lohan and her mom, Dina, got into such a blowout early today that police were called to the scene.
TMZ reports that the fight started last night when the two went to a nightclub in New York City. They left the club around 4 a.m., bound for Dina's home in North Merrick on Long Island, although Lindsay wanted to go to her New York hotel. They started arguing in the car and things got physical. In the scuffle, Lindsay was cut on her leg and a bracelet was broken, and eventually a 911 call was made.
Lohan's rep tells Lifeline Live there will be no comment on the incident.
"It was an argument between Lindsay Lohan and her mother," Officer Eloise Abdullah, Nassau County police spokeswoman, tells New York's Daily News. "The police responded, and no further police action was taken." The News also reports that the two were arguing over a $40,000 loan Linds gave Dina.
Lindsay's father, Michael, called police from Florida after his daughter dialed him around 7:30 a.m. with details of the ugly spat, a source tells the News.
AP confirmed with Nassau County Police Inspector Kenneth Lack that officers were called around 8 a.m. and found "no criminality."
The fight comes barely a week after Lohan accused a congressional aide at the W Union Square hotel of assaulting her.
