STONE MOUNTAIN, Ga. -- For the 38th year, the Stone Mountain Highland Games celebrate the spirit of Scotland in Stone Mountain Park.

Families from DeKalb County and the southeast are invited to take part in Highland Athletic Program activities including a caber toss, sheaf toss and weight toss.

A crowed favorite, the caber toss involves a 100-130-pound tapered telephone pole. The Games test strength, endurance and accuracy, according to the DeKalb County.

There will also be Scottish dancing, traditional live music, piping and drumming bands. To wrap up the fest, the Parade of the Tartans is set for Sunday.

Stone Mountain Highland Games will be held from October 20-21.
