ATLANTA -- Police say two masked and armed men forced their way into a convenience store on County Line Road early Thursday, tied up the clerk and made their getaway in his vehicle.

Atlanta Police Capt. Adam Lee III said the clerk at Our Convenience Store tried to stop the gunmen, but they forced him to the back of the store, took his car keys and money from the register.

After freeing himself, the clerk ran to a nearby gas station to call 911. He was not injured during the incident. Police later recovered his vehicle.

Police did not release a description of the robbers.
