RINGGOLD, Ga -- It was only a year and a half ago that devastating tornadoes swept across the south, killing 300 people, more than a dozen here in Georgia.

Nine-year-old Andrew Ellis was picked up and carried a quarter of a mile by a tornado that tore through the city of Ringgold. He survived with serious injuries, but he lost four members of his family including his grandmother and his brother.

Andrew has made an amazing recovery, and he's our comeback athlete of the month from Children's Healthcare of Atlanta.
