Cincinnati, OH (Sports Network) - Kyle Fuller scored 12 of his game-high 25 points in overtime as the Vanderbilt Commodores took down the Xavier Musketeers, 66-64, in a non-conference thriller at the Cintas Center.

Kedren Johnson added 19 points and Kevin Bright had a double-double with 11 points and 10 rebounds for Vanderbilt (3-4) which had lost four of its previous five.

Travis Taylor knocked in 15 points to lead Xavier (6-2) which had a three- game winning streak snapped. Justin Martin added 13 points, Semaj Christon netted 12 and Isaiah Philmore had a double-double of 11 points and 10 rebounds.

Xavier held a 33-27 lead at the break by shooting 53.8 percent from the field including 4-of-13 from 3-point range. Vanderbilt connected on 43.5 percent of its first half shots.

Both teams cooled off in the second half with Vanderbilt hitting 40.0 percent of its shots while Xavier put in 39.1 percent. The Commodores chipped away at the Musketeer lead by outscoring Xavier 12-0 from 3-point range in the final 20 minutes.

Fuller cut a Xavier lead to one point, 54-53, on a layup with 1:59 left in regulation. James Siakam added a free throw with a little more than a minute to play and neither team was able to score the rest of the way setting up overtime.

In a back-and-forth extra session Fuller continued to will himself to the hoop to power the Commodores. Fuller did miss a pair of free throws with five seconds remaining but a last second heave was off the mark from Xavier, giving Vanderbilt the win.
