The Falcons (5-8) were paced by A'uston Calhoun who scored a game-high 22 points and also pulled down nine boards, but he was the only double-digit scorer for the program as they lost their fourth in a row.

Temple opened the meeting on a 12-6 run and eventually led by as many as 16 when O'Brien knocked down a 3-pointer at the 2:43 mark, before settling in with a 39-25 advantage at the break.

In the second half the Owls continued to play well at the defensive end of the floor, taking a 29-point advantage with just over three minutes remaining, en route to the 18-point victory.

Temple recorded a season-high 23 assists in the outing and held the visitors to only 37.7 percent success from the floor overall, including 4-of-16 behind the 3-point line.
