ATLANTA -- Flooded lanes briefly blocked traffic trying to exit Interstate 85 near Hartsfield-Jackson Airport.

The exit from the Interstate toCamp Creek Parkwaywas blocked by high water in the wake of severe thunderstorms.

Motorists werediverted to the Riverdale Road exit after 5 p.m. Wednesday.

After drains were cleared and the waters allowed to drain away, traffic was allowed to use the ramp.
