ADAIRSVILLE, Ga. -- On Wednesday in Adairsville, the "hand of God" landed quite a punch.

John Beasley, a local pastor, was at church when a 115 mph tornado tore through town and destroyed his house.

On Thursday, John and his sons cleared a path to walk on around the house and his wife, Stephanie cleared out the refrigerator which is no longer functioning.

Stephanie's goal was to get the food to whoever needed it.

The tornado left remains of what used to be a hotel strewn across his yard.

The pastor has faith in his family, community and his faith.

"I'm looking to see a lot of good come out of it, I'm looking to see people pull together and work together. He'll see us through this and we'll be better for it," Pastor John said.
