Atlanta- Atlanta Police are trying to find out who ripped off several eateries at Lenox Square Mall by pretending to be a fire inspector for the city. You can help, because he was caught on a surveillance video. The man approached employees at three businesses saying they needed an inspection, and then demanded $300 at the end. All while wearing what appeared to be a track suit.

"I'm somewhat dumbfounded over the fact that someone could be that brazen to essentially conduct an inspection in an unofficial capacity in plain attire," said Chief Gregory Favors with the Atlanta Police Department.

Favors said while $300 dollar fines are possible, that amount would most likely come from an inspection of a high rise, not a small fast food restaurant. He encouraged business owners to look for a badge and an ID card, and to call the Atlanta office if they are suspicious.
