ALPHARETTA, Ga. -- A mom-to-be almost delivered her baby on the side of a Fulton County highway Friday morning.
The woman was in the beginnings of labor as she drove down Georgia 400, according to Alpharetta Department of Public Safety spokesman George Gordon.
She pulled over and called for an ambulance, which took her to North Fulton Hospital in Roswell.
Gordon said the baby was not delivered on the highway.
A baby actually was born on Ga. 400 earlier this year. A mom delivered her son in her car on the highway while trying to get to Northside Hospital Jan. 28.
That same week, another baby was born on Interstate 285 in DeKalb County.
