Sioux Falls, SD (Sports Network) - Nate Wolters scored 20 points and Tony Fiegen had a double-double as the top-seeded South Dakota State Jackrabbits eased into the semifinals of the Summit League Tournament with a 66-49 win over eighth-seeded IUPUI at Sioux Falls Arena.
Fiegen had 15 points and 10 rebounds and Jordan Dykstra contributed 15 points for South Dakota State (23-9) which will take on the winner of Sunday's matchup between fifth-seed IUPU-Fort Wayne and fourth-seed Oakland.
Mitchell Patton tallied 17 points and Donovan Gibbs registered 10 points while coming a rebound short of a double-double for IUPUI (6-26).
South Dakota State clung to a 31-27 lead at the break after shooting 42.3 percent from the field in the first half. IUPUI hit on 43.5 percent from the floor but the Jackrabbits hit all seven of their shots from the free-throw line to earn the lead.
After the break the Jackrabbits shot a scorching 60 percent from the field to pull away for the win.
South Dakota State had a 30-22 edge in rebounds and outscored the Jaguars, 30-12, in the paint.
