It's time to vote for your favorite 2013 AJC Peachtree Road Race T-shirt design!
A panel of judges from the Atlanta Track Club, the AJC, and a group of local artists, selected the five finalists from 170 entries.
Now, it's your turn to choose.
Just click on the website, ajc.com/peachtreeand vote for your favorite design. The winning design will be unveiled at the 44th running of the AJC Peachtree Road RaceJuly 4. All 60,000 of the 10K's participants receive a t-shirt, along with the runners who compete in branches of the race overseas.
The Atlanta Track Clubhas used the contest to determine the design for the Peachtree finisher's shirt since 1995.
"Every year we are impressed with the number of talented artists who submit their designs and we are proud to showcase the winning design on a T-shirt that 60,000 people love to wear," said Tracey Russell, executive director of the Atlanta Track Club, which organizes the annual race.
"The unveiling of the Peachtree T-shirt design remains one of the most anticipated moments of the event every Fourth of July."
The designs come for a number of talented artists:
- Katie Pettus, a student from Carrollton, created design 1.
- Kayla Marston, a Sharpsburg student, came up with design 2.
- Justin Dunbar, a Carrollton student, made design 3.
- David Bregande, a designer from Roswell, created design 4.
- Hannah Sanders, a student from Temple, made design 5.
Along with having their design featured on thousands of t-shirts, the winning artist will also receive $1,000. The four runners-up will each receive $100 for their efforts.
Voting ends Tuesday, April 30.
