(Sports Network) - The New York Yankees have reportedly agreed to terms with outfielder Brennan Boesch on a one-year contract.
CBSSports.com has reported the deal to be worth $1.5 million with incentives.
Boesch was released by the Tigers on Wednesday. He batted .240 and clubbed 12 homers with 54 runs driven in over 132 games for Detroit last season.
The 27-year-old left-handed hitter has hit .259 with 42 homers, 73 doubles and 175 RBI in three big league seasons, all with Detroit.
