Key Biscayne, FL (Sports Network) - Top seed Novak Djokovic continued his quest for a third straight Sony Open championship with a third-round victory over India's Somdev Devvarman.

The Serbian Djokovic ran his winning streak to 14 matches at this event with a 6-2, 6-4 decision Sunday afternoon. Djokovic hasn't lost to a player ranked outside the top 100 since 2010 at Belgrade and is trying for his fourth title at this tournament.

Third-seeded Spaniard David Ferrer moved into the round-of-16 with a 6-1, 7-5 win over 32nd-seeded Italian Fabio Fognini.

Seventh seed Janko Tipsarevic of Serbia was a 4-6, 7-6 (7-5), 6-0 victor over 26th seed Kevin Anderson of South Africa.

Also Sunday, 11th seed Gilles Simon of France disposed of Slovenia's Grega Zemlja, 6-4, 6-4; and 13th seed Kei Nishikori of Japan downed Belgium's Xavier Malisse, 6-2, 7-5.

Germany's Tommy Haas, the No. 15 seed, defeated 19th-seeded Ukrainian Alexandr Dolgopolov, 6-3, 6-2.

Spain's Albert Ramos avenged a previous loss to American wild card James Blake by rallying in the final set for a 6-4, 2-6, 7-5 triumph. Blake won a meeting between the two in straight sets last August in Winston-Salem.

Austria's Jurgen Melzer upended Germany's Tobias Kamke, 6-7 (3-7), 6-3, 6-4.

The third round continues on Monday with the bottom half of the draw. Second- seeded Andy Murray highlights play by facing No. 29 seed Grigor Dimitrov of Bulgaria.
