ATLANTA -- Wednesday's pollen count is much higher than Tuesday's.
The pollen count is 4,151, according to the Atlanta Allergy & Asthma Clinic.

Oak, birch, sweetgum, sycamore and mulberry trees are especially active.
A pollen count over 1,500 is considered "extremely high," according to the clinic.
"With these extremely high pollen counts, we're seeing patients with worsening allergy symptoms," Dr. Stanley Fineman with the Atlanta Allergy & Asthma Clinic said in a statement. "The cooler weather in March has resulted in a delay in pollen in metro Atlanta. The current warmer dry weather is ideal for the plants to release their pollen, so we're seeing a virtual explosion of tree pollen, which is unfortunate for patients with pollen allergies."
