If you want to help Boston's bombing victims there are some easy ways to do so, including some free ones.
GoodSearch.comis a website where consumers can shop, search the web, play games and take surveys. Each action rewards you with a penny or a few cents in an account for one of hundreds of charities. The funds can accumulate into a significant donation. Among the charities listed are Children's Hospital of Boston, The Red Cross, The Salvation Army and others.
The Red Cross says donating blood is another free way to help. Donors simply call your local chapter to set up an appointment.
To make a direct donation online, go toOneFundBoston, which is the official charity set up the the City's Mayor.
But be careful where you donate. As with any disaster, there are already fraudulent fake charities set up, including a Twitter account that offers donations for every retweet. It has already been suspended but others are likely to follow.
