ATLANTA -- After nearly two full weeks of pollen counts in the quadruple digits, the number has finally dropped below 1000 for the weekend.
Saturday's pollen count is 796, according to the Atlanta Allergy & Asthma Clinic.
Active contributors include oak, pine, mulberry, sycamore and willow trees.
A pollen count over 1500 is considered extremely high. Saturday's count falls within the high range, and dropped just in time for the many festivals and activities taking place this weekend.
