ATLANTA -- Although the registration lottery had ended for the 2013 AJC Peachtree Road Race, there are still ways to buy a race number.


The Atlanta Track Club, which hosts the Independence Day 10K, is offering a limited number of entries to benefit its Kilometer Kids program, which encourages young people to run and lead healthy lives.

The Kilometer Kids numbers are $150 each; $115 of the fee is tax deductible and goes directly to the program. Visit to learn more.

This year, the Atlanta Track Club has partnered with CrowdRise to support various other charities through the sale of race numbers. These special entries are $250 -- $215 of each fee goes directly to the participating charity of your choice.

The race's charity partners include the Atlanta Community Food Bank, the Crohn's and Colitis Foundation, Every Mother Counts, Girls on the Run, the Ovarian Cancer Research Fund and Soccer in the Streets. See a full list and learn more at
