San Francisco, CA (Sports Network) - Cliff Lee tossed eight innings of two-run ball in the Philadelphia Phillies' 6-2 win over the San Francisco Giants in the opener of a three-game set.

Lee (3-2) fanned six and surrendered just five hits for Philadelphia, which snapped a brief two-game skid.

Hunter Pence smacked a solo homer and a double among his three hits for the Giants, who had their six-game winning streak snapped.
