ATLANTA, Ga. -- A SE Atlanta family was all smiles Tuesday evening.
Thanks to a famous face with the Warrick Dunn Charities, Atlanta Habitat for Humanity and Aaron's, Inc.
The family had no clue they were about to get a fully furnished four bedroom home.
That's until it was time to open the door.
"Oh my God!" shouted Kimberly Kindel.
Full of emotion, Kindel and her small children found themselves standing inside their own brand new home.
All Thanks to a man we have grown to love over the years - former Atlanta Falcons player Warrick Dunn and a group of friends.
"Oh man. It means stability. It means I can raise my kids," said Kindel.
"Losing my mom at that early age, I know what were her dreams and to be able to share this moment with another single parent - for me I can't really describe the emotion," said Dunn.
"From the bottom of my heart, I sincerely thank you - we thank you so much," said Kindel.
"I'm passionate about it. I've lived it. I understand it. I'm experienced in it and I understand the struggle," said Dunn.
"Who is this big man standing next to you - this is my house leader alex cook - an inspection," said Kindel.
"We had a little special something in store for her," said Alex Cook.
And Dunn, himself, actually gets a kick out of surprising people and it's all straight from the heart.
"I just think the single parent just sometimes needs a push to continue working hard," said Dunn.
"When the cameras leave - when everybody is gone. What are you going to do in this big house?" asked the reporter. "I'm going to have a little talk with God and say thank you!" said the new homeowner.
