The owner of Petland Dunwoody is asking the public for help tracking down an expensive puppy that was stolen from the store over the weekend.

Owner Hunt McDannald says someone walked out of the crowded store Saturday with a 10-month-old Maltese Shi-Tzu mix.The puppy retails for $1350.

The store has filed a report with Dunwoody Police. They're currently pouring over hours of security camera video, hoping to pinpoint who took the puppy and when.

It's not the first time Petland Dunwoody has been targeted. Last year, someone asked to see a dog and then bolted out the front door. The store was able to eventually that dog and hopes to find this puppy as well.
