DECATUR, Ga. -- The DeKalb County Police Department has released a sketch of a public indecency suspect, who they say may be related to similar incidents that happened in Decatur.

Most recently on June 6, a woman was waiting at for a bus at the intersection of Covington Highway and Mercer Drive around 11:45 p.m. A man approached her at the bus stop and tried to talk to her. She looked his way to answer him, to see him engaging in a sexual act.

Officer Mekka Parish of the DCPD said the woman fled from the bus stop and told police what had happened. Police, along with K-9 units canvassed the area, but were unable to locate the man.

As detectives investigate this case, they are also working to determine if the same suspect is involved with two similar sexual assaults that took place at a nearby apartment complex.

According to police, both of the incidents happened at the Marquis Ridge Apartments on Belvedere Square. The first was May 31, when around 4:00 that morning, a suspect entered an apartment unit through an open window.

The suspect, police said, found two females asleep on the couch. He began to perform a sex act in front of them, and when the woke up to see him, they screamed and he ran from the apartment. The women were ages 28 and 30.

In the next incident on June 3, the suspect also entered a Marquis Ridge apartment unit through an open window. This time, it was around 4:40 in the afternoon while a 10-year-old girl was sleeping in her bedroom. She woke up and saw the man performing a sexual act. She screamed and ran for her parents who were in another room. Once again, the man ran from the apartment home.
