ATLANTA -- Atlanta Police are investigation two separate shootings that happened overnight in different parts of the city.

Two people were shot around 11 p.m. Sunday in southwest Atlanta and one person was shot at around 1 a.m. Monday in Midtown.

The first shooting happened at 1700 Stanton Road SW. The victims' are being treated at Grady Memorial Hospital. Their wounds are not life-threatening.

In the second incident, a man told officers he was shot in front of an extended stay hotel on Pine Street in Midtown. He drove himself to the emergency room at Emory University Hospital Midtown on Peachtree Street. Police said he may have been shot in an attempted robbery.

No additional information is available in either incident.
