ATLANTA -- Smash-and-grab burglars did considerable damage to an Atlanta hair weave shop Tuesday morning.

Atlanta Police said the thieves struck Queen Virgin Remy on Edgewood Avenue at around 3:30 a.m. They backed a green or gray pickup truck into the front of the store and stole hair extensions.

Atlanta Police Capt. Tim Peek said investigators believe the burglary may be gang-related.

The owners said only hair extensions were taken.

Police plan to review surveillance video to see if it captured images of the suspects and their car.
