DECATUR, Ga. -- The DeKalb County Sheriff's Department apprehended two people they say are responsible for killing a man on Monday.
Authorities say, 24-year-old Dontavious Fulks and 20-year-old Virkerrie Steward are responsible for killing Carl Moreland at the Exxon station on Memorial Drive Sunday.
According to reports, Fulks and Moreland were engaged in an argument when Fulks reached into Steward's backpack, brandished a handgun and shot Moreland in the chest.
Steward and Fulks are currently being held in the DeKalb County Jail. Both are charged with murder.
