ATLANTA -- A person is in custody Friday morning after getting into a violent argument with his roommate just before 3:00.
The fight took place in the 1600 block of Stanton Road SW. Officers on scene of the incident said the two roommates got into an argument. One stabbed the other in the buttocks and possibly the neck. When police got to there, he was unconscious.
He had been bound by the legs and feet with duct tape and tied to a chair. A person walking by had seen the victim through a window and called 911.
EMT crews worked to wake the man, but he was not alert when they took him to Grady Hospital for treatment. During the attack, the victim lost a lot of blood, police said.
His name, age and condition are being withheld.
The other roommate was arrested shortly after.
