ATLANTA -- "It is fitting that we reflect on the sacrifices and experiences... from this defining moment in civil rights movement."
Those words are in a Proclamation by Georgia Governor Nathan Deal, declaring Wednesday, August 28 "Share the Journey Day" in Georgia.
He talks about how Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., as he puts it, a world-renowned Georgian, created a legacy that continues to impact the nation.
