Each week, we like to give you ideas of fun things to do not far from home that won't cost you a lot of money. We call them 1 tank trips.

This week we show Atlanta is one of the few places in the world where you can go Trout fishing in the big city.

You can go on your wilderness fishing excursion in Roswell, or Sandy Springs; right under I-285 or GA-400.

Chris Scalley runs River Through Atlanta, a fishing guide service specializing on the Chattahoochee.

It's one of three rivers in the world that supports trout in a city of over a million. The other two are Calgary, Canada and Munich, Germany.

On a good day catching as many as three-dozen fish is the norm. Shoal bass and stripers hit certain times of year.

To go fishing with a guide, plan to pay about $175 per person for a day. They provide the boat, fishing gear, lunch and they know where all the fish are.
