ATLANTA -- After canceling shows for this season, the non-profit Theater of the Stars company says it is canceling the 2013-14 seasonentirely.

The theater company, which brought Broadway presentations to audiences at the Fox Theatre, said the company'sfinancial position led it to cancel the season. Its presentations of Disney's The Little Mermaid and Cats had previously been canceled.

The company had been working on a last-ditch effort to raise more revenue.

With Theater of the Stars no longer bringing shows in,the for-profit Broadway in Atlanta remains as the only company bringing Broadway shows tothe Fox Theatre at this point.

The Fox Theatre says it will present Stomp on September 25 - 29 and are selling tickets atwww.FoxTheatre.org or by calling 855-285-8499. The Fox says it will honor all tickets previously purchased for Stomp, including those purchased by Theater of the Stars subscribers.
