ATLANTA -- Atlanta police have released a sketch of a man they believe is responsible for an armed robbery last week.

The incident happened on Sept. 10 at Jackson and Irwin streets in northeast Atlanta.

Atlanta Police Officer John Chafee said the two victims were walking home from a concert at Centennial Olympic Park when two suspects ran up to them. One tried to snatch a purse from one of the victims, while the other pulled out a gun and demanded their valuables. The suspects took the purse, a wallet and a phone from the victims before running.

Chafee said the sketch is of the armed suspect.
