The Alpharetta Department of Public Safety announced Wednesday that it has identified the suspect as 32-year-old Timothy C. Pierce.
Pierce is described as a black man, about 5 feet 10 inches tall and 165 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes. He drives a silver 2000 Honda Accord with Georgia tag PMC6533 and is considered armed and dangerous.
The shooting happened at around 3:30 a.m. Tuesday at the Planter's Ridge townhouses off Cumming Highway.
