According to Beverly Clark, a spokesperson for Emory University, astudent filed a complaint Sunday morning saying that two other students -- two men she knows -- raped heron campus at about2:30 a.m.

The incident is currently under investigation by the Emory Police Department and Campus Life.

The student said she was raped at 15 Eagle Row, which is the address of the Beta Theta Pi fraternity house.

The University notified students, faculty and staff about the investigation by sending an email to everyone Monday afternoon.

"We do want people to know whether it was someone that was a visitor to campus, or whether it was someone that's part of our community," said the Dean of Students, Bridget Riordan, Monday night. "And this [email] did state that these were people that were part of our community.... Fortunately we have very few crimes that affect our campus, but what we do want to do is make sure people are aware so that they're vigilant about reporting any crime and that they take their own precautions."

Dean Riordan said the investigation will determine whether the two men are charged and prosecuted and expelled.

According to Clark, "Emory Police executed a search warrant" at the fraternity house on Sunday, "to gather any potential evidence of the assault."

The victim in this case is being given "ongoing support."
