ATLANTA -- No one was hurt when a fire broke out at a southeast Atlanta house Sunday night.

The fire began at around 11:30 p.m. at a single-story house on Fairlane Drive SE off Cleveland Avenue.

Atlanta Fire Capt. Dale Rice said a preliminary investigation reveals the fire probably started in a fireplace and spread to the kitchen.

Two people were home at the time. They both managed to escape the house.
