SANDY SPRINGS, Ga. -- Police have confirmed that a body found in the Chattahoochee River belongs to a missing Sandy Springs man.

James "Gary" Morris disappeared Dec. 3 from his Princeton Trace home. Investigators said the 72-year-old man suffered from depression and took medication for congenital heart failure. His car was found parked at Don White Memorial Park in Roswell.

Police opened the Morgan Falls Dam on Dec. 13 in their search for Morris. The missing man's body was pulled from the Chattahoochee River last Thursday and was positively identified the next day.

Monday morning, police closed the Mattie's Call for Morris.
