The couple lived with their son, Aiden Calvo in the Steeple Chase Apartments on Hunt Club Run in unincorporated Norcross. Gwinnett County police told 11Alive News the family moved to metro Atlanta from New York earlier this month.

On Dec. 16, the suspects called 911 when Aiden had a seizure. He was rushed to Children's Healthcare of Atlanta at Scottish Rite.

Gwinnett County Police Cpl. Jake Smith said Special Victims Unit detectives interviewed hospital staff, who claimed Aiden had extensive injuries and signs of abuse.

Garber and Calvo were arrested that same day on first-degree cruelty to children charges.

Aiden died of his injuries on Dec. 22. Felony murder charges were added for both suspects.
