ROSWELL, Ga. -- Police believe the same man is responsible for a gas station robbery in Cobb County and a pharmacy robbery in Fulton County.

Roswell police spokeswoman Lisa Holland said a suspect robbed the CVS in the 1300 block of Woodstock Road on Sunday. He pointed a gun at a cashier and demanded money and cigarettes. The suspect then got away in an older model green or blue hatchback car with a female passenger inside.

The man was caught on surveillance video walking into the store.

Holland said investigators think the same man robbed the Shell station in the 2600 block of Windy Hill Road in Marietta at around 1 a.m. Wednesday.

In that case, the suspect made a small purchase at the station's convenience store; when the register opened, he pointed a gun at the cashier and demanded money. Cobb County police spokesman Mike Bowman said the man drove away in a black car, possibly a Toyota, with a spoiler on the back.

The suspect is described as white, in his late 20's or early 30's, about 5 feet 8 inches tall and 150 pounds.

Anyone with information in these cases is asked to call Cobb County police at 770-499-3945 or Roswell police at 770-640-4448.
